The think I absolutely hate about this game:

    1. It makes folks care about the community college's team, if only for one day.
    2. That the one argument UN_ could have to keeping the nickel will go away, and they still will not do the right thing and send to Bismarck.
    3. That is NDSU does not utterly humiliate, and destroy them by at least 30, I will be upset. I want them to wonder why they even try.

No wonder I "got over" this game.

Getting the word out... Apparently a bunch of Wioux fans are lining up buses tonight to try to get into tailgating and stir stuff up. Also reserved the air museum parking lot. Need our general admin tailgaters to get up there...

Maybe they're just looking for a cold beer and a good hang, like everyone else.

You know, in a lot of ways, this is the last piece of unfinished business to take care of in the move to FCS.

All the naysayers. All the pundits. All the attempts to marginalize and hold down.................................
............................have all been answered with a never-been-done-before 4 straight National FCS Championships and the unquestioned status as the program by which all other FCS schools are measured.

Now it's time to take the very worst of those naysayers, and bury them in the grave that they made for themselves. "And, make no mistake. It's not the revenge we're after, it's the reckoning."

I don't think we need to beat und to validate anything. Sure some administrators there, and especially fans, predicted our demise in DI. But I can sleep easy knowing that NDSU football has accomplished things that not only und won't ever accomplish but things that no other FCS team will accomplish. Does that sound cocky? Sure, I guess. It is the truth. Beating und tomorrow would be the cherry on top of the sundae but it's still a pretty big sundae that with or without the cherry; it doesn't matter. Damn....now I want some ice cream.
