Bison need to run plays mostly under center with the ability to run play action out of every backfield formation. JMU will have 6-7 in the box every play so we need to freeze their LBs and safety as long as we can. Starting out I hope passing plays are quick hitting high percentage throws, although we will need to stretch the field as well, hope for a connection or PI. I would love to see fake toss to Luepke out of the I with cam booting out hitting a drag pattern, wheel routes, center screens etc.
I think we will see a seam pass out of QP out of Wildcat.
Cam will need to get back to his pump fakes that he was good at earlier in the season. He should also be told to have the green light to tuck it and go if his first read is not there. JMU will feast on him if he stays back there and runs through to his third progression.
Open up the book, we will need it. The O will need to put up at least 24 to win. I have confidence in our D. Should be fun!
My concerns are the JMU passing attack. If we cant pressure their QB its going to be a long day. On the other side of the ball they have some very fast hard hitting
D-backs.
