So, in newest Sagarin, MWC did pretty darn well edging nearly every G5 conference other than MWC. Since Tatanka is not around, LOL Big Fluffy. (Beaten by many G5 and Souther, Southland, Big South, and CAA....ouch)

I'm not seeing what you're seeing. MVFC is higher than MWC: 64.3 vs 61.8.

But yeah... LOL @ Big Fluffy. ;-)

I was noting one subdivision of MWC was higher; I can never find where the conferences as a whole are listed.

They aren't. Hammersmith and/or thebootfitter recalculate them.

They aren't. When we post the conference lists in this thread, we have to do the recalculations ourselves.

    edit: too slow

Also, I'm going to wait until tomorrow to see if Sagarin does one more update before the title games. I'm a bit surprised that he did one after last night when there are four games to be played today.

TCU is now #1 in the Sagarin ratings. -- I guess we need an 8-team playoff.

Love it. Hope it stays that way. What would have to happen with OR/OSU to jump TCU? A big blow out OR win?
Wow. Just looked and OSU is ranked higher than OR. fSU dropped to #18 lmao
....back to my question...what kind of blow out would be needed to jump over TCU.

    TCU 99.27
    Ohio State 98.56
    Oregon 98.13

They're all basically within one ranking point of each other. Sagarin's line on the championship is 1/2 a point so any result should improve the winners ranking, it's just a matter of how much and what the interactions are. Non-conference results can shift teams that aren't playing a fair bit, Ill. St. increased more than a point and NDSU nearly a point on the games between x-mas and new years.

So if OSU beats OR say 45-35 would that bump them over TCU?
