He must not be very strong in the teammate category. If he had the ability, I would liked to have seen him in green and yellow, but I'm not for wasting scholarships either, we've done enough of that.
When kids are injured in a big time program and cant compete they are actually pushed to the wayside because the next person needs to step up and the coaches need to turn there full attention to those who are playing. Until a player recovers and can actually compete they are an after thought.
It sounds to me as the kid was injured and when he couldnt compete they moved on. Sounds cruel but thats the reality of the situation.
