I found today that Pomerenke was named First Team All State in Iowa on the Offensive Line. Good football state. Congrats to him. Our offensive line is going to be nice for a long time.

Lie or a typo. If he was that fast Nick Saban would be worshipping the ground this guy walks on.
    You mean runs on?
If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

I believe that 17 players came in this class with and only 5 have left. I wouldn't expect any more to leave.

I do like how all 21 from 09's year are still around though that we know of!

First off FTG, and I suppose that did sound a bit like Lakes but I'm just passing along info. I made sure to tell him some good things about NDSU though so don't hate.

I'm not even sure about "run." This guy must have wings and a jet engine if he is really that fast.

That being said, I'm sure he is still very fast and I would love to see him play here!

If he does commit to NDSU, then yes, I will beleive 100% he is that fast

Those no longer on the team from 2008 include:

    McFarlane
    Offerman
    Manowske
    Miller
    Osborne
    Wentz

So, technically it is 6/20 (30%), thanks for the correction.

If Fred ran a 4.23 40 the big big boys would be all over him. AL, FL, TX, OK, USC etc.

    Yep....Freddy can fly....

"After playing the past few years behind Craig Loston, last year's number one safety nationally who signed with LSU, this was my time to shine," Fred Jackson said. "Being selected as a team captain this year though was my first big honor and an early indication that is was going to be a good season. We finished 6-5 which is not as good as we would've liked, but it was still a good year."

Helping Jackson to prepare for a good senior season was a summer spent at several national combines including the US Army combine, the Ivy League Combine at Columbia University, and the Nike Austin Combine.

"The Army combine was a great experience, as it helped me become an even better player," Jackson said. "While there I got to face the nation's best competition, and anytime you go against the best, you're going to get better."

Another feature that has drawn the attention of college coaches is Jackson blazing fast speed. Timed last summer with a 4.23 40-yard time, Jackson is an elite track star, having appeared in the junior Olympics six times since starting to compete at age nine.

So far his great on the field play has drawn the attention and offers of several SWAC schools such as Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Grambling State, and Prairie View A&M, while also getting attention and offers from ULM, Navy, and North Dakota State.

Despite the various sizes of schools courting Jackson, there are several things he's looking at before making a decision.

"I'm looking for a school that I'll be comfortable at and where I can become a better player," he said. "A school's depth chart and graduation rate are two more things that I researched on all of the schools, but probably more important though is the academics, as I know making it to the NFL is a tough task."
