Get him here...and when Bohl decides to leave, pay him well and you have a head coach that gets it. Offer an unusual amount of money for a DC. Seriously serious.

If you wore the uniform...you're a champion.

Wouldnt that be a great hire, a NDSU stud with NFL experience who obviously knows the Tampa 2 inside and out. Hey, if I remember correctly Wash is the guy who discovered Pat Paschall?

Hey fellas, haven't posted in a while. Not sure if this has been brought up. Has anyone brought up the relationship of assistant coaches leaving and them not getting along with Bohl? Just heard that rumor that Bohl is pretty tough to work with, in fact, almost impossible.

Too much of a turnstile of coaches at NDSU right now. NDSU has to get some great coaches and keep them long enough for a good mentor to develop within the program to replace them. Searching and hiring outside of NDSU brings in too many options and unknowns and is not good for program stability.
How does Montana, UNI and Appy do it? I don't think any of those programs have had near as many coaching departures in the past several years.
Who can blame coaches for moving up???? If these coaches weren't getting better jobs I would be worried...but to me it says if you come to NDSU it is proven that you will receive good coaching.

The head coach is usually the guy the recruits come to play for. Also the school, the town. Several factors.

The coach Bohl haters amaze me!! These are the same people that were so worried he would leave after the back to back 10-1 seasons.

He turned around a team that won two games the previous year and I know he will do it again. He has realized mistakes in recruiting and has fixed them.

I would also bet you will see changes in Offense and Defense next year.

I am as passionate a fan as anyone. But to sit and bash players and coaches..I just don't get it..What does it accomplish?

Lets spread some more rumors on this board!!!

Funny, I have personally known two assistants that have worked under Bohl and they never said a bad word about him....

Of course that hasn't been the past two years and I know he is not happy with the past two seasons and is doing everything in his power to get us back on track.

But hey..lets spread some more baseless rumors because they are so productive and positive for the program

I haven't had intimate knowledge of the program for a few years, but when I was involved, I know Coach Bohl had a reputation of being a great guy to work for among the assistants. In regards to hours he would have the assistants put in, he put a major emphasis on family and making coaches leave the office to be with their families. I don't know if that has changed over time, but I know that was his reputation from 03-05.
