Star Tribune had the All Metro Football team announced today.

Wayzata LB/WE AJ Tarpley was voted Player of the year although most everyone recognizes Hendeson as the state's best football player, but I guess O=Lineman don't win too many awards. Tarpley is going to Stanford.

    http://www.startribune.com/sports/preps/72034207.html

QB Mark Alt- Cretin (son of longtime NFL John Alt, Gopher hockey commit)
RB Brandon Marquardt-Champlin Park (D2 or St. Johns most likely)
RB John Crockett- Totino Grace (had five TD's in semi final win, B10 walk on or possible 1AA recruit, no offers at this point)
OL Seantrel Henderson- Cretin (#1 recruit in the nation, enough said)
OL Jimmy Gjere- Irondale (4-star Gopher recruit who will play in Army All american game)
OL Billy Turner - Mounds View ( NDSU commitment)
OL Tommy Olsen(jr.) - Mahtomedi (states top junior, committed to Gophers as a soph.)
OL Conor McFadden - STA (Ivy League recruit)
WR Zach Vraa - Rosemount ( NDSU offer)
WR Jameer Jackson(jr.) - Osseo (86 catches for 1,139 yds and 15 td's as a junior, not sure what his size and speed are but has to be one of the top jr. recruits)
TE Taylor Grant - Eden Prairie (son of HC Mike Grant, grandson of Bud, alot of D1 have showed interest but no offers, one to keep an eye on)
ATL Even Willimas -Mpls. De La Salle ( had 3,500 yds total offense and 41 TD's and missed two games, Wyoming and MN offers)
    PK Wes Kramer- Northfield

    http://www.startribune.com/sports/pr...tml?page=1&c=y
DE Tobi Okuyemi - Wayzata ( committed to Nebraska, just another in a long line of Wayzata high d1 recruits)
DE Sam Pokornowski - Dassel-Cokato ( never heard of him)
DT Beau Allen - Minnetonka ( deciding between Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Notre Dame)
DT Tyler Kubler - Eden Prairie (likely D2)
DT Di-Jon Starr 0 Blaine ( great player but a little small for bigger schools so would be a perfect recruit for NDSU)
LB AJ Tarpley - Wayzata (Player of the year, standout on both sides of the ball, going to Stanford)
LB Grant Olsen - Wayzata ( NDSU offer)
LB Gabe Mezzenga - Totino Grace ( MIAC)
DB Mitch Hallstrom - Eden Prairie ( really good player who had 12 INT's this year, not sure if he has athleticism for BCS schools but somebody will get a steal)
DB Daryl Brown - Wayzata ( very good corner with a couple MAC offers)
DB Carlton Littlejohn - Mpls North ( very good athlete playing in terrible conference)

I have been following this kid, and he is quite a talent. Great athlete.
Everyone just relax, all right? Believe me, if there's one thing Ron Burgundy knows, it's women.

Yes, he has an offer from Kansas and has stated that he is still taking his official visit there even with everything that is going on there. His visit there is scheduled for 12/4.
