sounds like a great player but why would a player like that commit to NDSU when we dont run the spread unless he isnt accomplished enough to run the spread at the D1 level. I suppose he could hand off the ball as well as Mertens.

That's right! It is all about the chance to get on the field earlier and play for 3 or 4 years rather than 2.

Appy is really struggling this year, and I am willing to bet they have been losing some players to other schools who are using the tact that you can go to Appy and ride the bench for three years or you can come here and compete and play right away.

You are very correct BisonNeil! You know these recruits look at depth charts and see what their chances are of playing right away, heck I know I looked at rosters and depth charts coming out of H.S.. Right now, if I was a in between FBS/FCS LB or DB, I would be loving my chance of coming in and playing right away.

How good is he? Anyone here seen him play? It concerns me a bit that a handful of the verbals only had a scholarship offer from NDSU, but Gefroh sounds like solid player.

Anyone know how many scholarships will be available for the 2010 recruiting class?
