A recruit can get all caught up in the whirlwind of the recruiting process and it can get confusing when you've got people pulling you in different directions. Hopefully the kid has a check list(thats how I did it) of whats important to him in a school. That can range from academics, miles to home, social life, FBS vs FCS, Style of offense, Where did he feel the most comfortable, facilities etc. Check off the pros and cons of each school. When you look at the schools in a more critical manner the list of schools can get small real quick. But it will usually come down to 2-3 that are close.
You just don't give up on a kid because he didn't commit from the get go when this could be a life decision he is making. PL
O i know that, and I agree with you 100% PL. All i was saying is that, in Hallstroms blog it didn't really seem like he wanted to play here. If he comes here, then awsome, but it seemed as if if he would have came here his heart wouldn't be in it. I totally agree that choosing where to go to school is a big decision in one's life. I also agree with all the things that can be important. If i were a recruiter, which i am not, I would know doubt want him to come to my school, but if his whole heart wasn't there, then I don't know, thats all I was saying.
