Lawson is going to walk on at Illinois from what I hear.

    otherwise

NDSU, BALL STATE, CMU and NO. Illinois was on his list. . . .
That stings a bit! He was our only player from Illinois and he looked like a real solid player. Yuen Taufeten, the Juco from California will make an impact immediately so it's a good thing for the 2008 season.

But I'd rather have a guy like Lawson for 4 years as opposed to 2. However we've had some HUGE success with Juco lineman like Alvin Robertson, Travis Ware, Dwight Summerville, and Christian Dallas and they were good right off the bat.

I have a question. I have just started looking at rivals.com for some information. Why is NDSU not listed as a verbal, a potential, or even our commitment list on the site?? I have seen other schools there such as McNeese, Montana, Cal Poly... Just wondering. Does the school have to "subscribe" to it to get listed or are we just not there yet to get listed??

Thanks in advance for the info.

Or they won't put NDSU on there until next year when we're fully DI.

BTW, I cannot find anything at all about Yuen Tuafetee high school career. Butte CC's website spells his name with two "f"s as well. They list his HS as Nu'uuli Poly Tech in American Samao.

WHo cares. I'd rather other teams not know we exist. Otherwise they will use it as a resourse to recruit who we recruit since we're proven.

I saw that to. I guess we can use him as a poster child for weather does not matter. Samoa to ND. Maybe he is the start of the Samoan pipeline!!! We know he can play if we recruited him as a JUCO, I hope he has a drago personality, He could be the media darling up here.

My son is excited about this guy. If you have ever watched some of the Samoans who have played at Hawaii, Washington, in the some of the CA schools like USC, UCLA, etc., they are bad asses. He probably knows leverage, I think his verbal is great!

Everyone in the business knows who NDSU is regardless if we are in Rivals or not. PL

Yeah, when I looked up his HS, I got a lot of hits on big time college and pro players.
