I thought that NCAA rules dictate that universities commit a minimum of two years to a player before there can be changes to their scholarship. Maybe I'm wrong. If I am right, then the reductions would be of RFr from class of 2006 that didn't perform, perhaps, or Sophs from 2005. 2007 class couldn't be touched if my understanding is correct. Anybody else know something about this?

I don't think they it necessarily means an upperclassmen is getting their scholarship reduced. There are several recruits that are obviously getting a full ride, and several that are probably getting partials. One scholarship can go along way.

I just read scout.com Nate Williams is a commit of Indiana State Uni. I hope he changes his mind when he comes up to Fargo and comes to a winning team. That was the main reason why my son committed to this program. Come on Nate and get on board !!!

However, I am also quite certain there are limitations as to how many scholarships can be split in any one year. In other words, NCAA won't permit 24 1/2 rides out of 12 scholarships. I don't know how many can be split, but I know there is a cap.

Not all of the verbals may get offers on signing day. We may get one or more recruits on signing day that get refused by "bigger" schools.

Looks to be a good class. It is nice to see that we are getting a few recruits that are also being looked at by the big ten! It is a good spread out class over the different positions

    Offense
    1 WR
    1 QB
    1 RB
    2 OL
    1 K/P

    Defense
    3 DL
    3 LB
    4 S/CB's

2 of the above were listed as TE also. We will see what happens but I am pretty impressed with the recruits and overall who we were recruiting against.

his son is obviously not Nate Williams. reread his post.

I believe quedog is Greg's father. The Milwaukee King linebacker. If his stats are correct, the guy is more of a monster back.

I do believe but I could be mistaken that quedog3 is Greg Reids father. Am I correct Mr. quedog3. If I am I believe your son is going to be a good addition to the bison!!!! I hope to watch him play for many years to come.

Geez, they only need one more recruit on defense to have a whole defensive lineup. Good balance!
