Greg Reid our verbal from Wisco is ranked the 10th best Wisco recruit this year on the homepage of Wisconsinpreps.com.....the top 7 are going to the Big 10, 6 going to Wisco, the 8th and 9th are going to Central and Eastern Washington. It still doesn't list Greg as a Bison verbal on that site as it hasn't updated in a long time.

Looks like another possibility on a Minnesota kid: I would guess we have a legit shot at this athlete:

One of the more talented, and overlooked, players in the state of Minnesota is Wazyata senior h-back/tight end prospect Beau Illikainen (6-foot-3, 235 pounds). An athletic two sport prospect Illikainen has emerged as one of the more highly recruited prospects in the state. We got his take on this past season and the college recruiting process.

Thanks for the info AVBisonFan. I could not find his punting stats for the 2007 season and incorrectly assumed he was not the punter.

nice find, but do we need another TE on scholarship? The roster seems stacked right now and they all are underclassmen except Wurz.

I wonder if fullback will be his position.

Also, has anyone found more information on Sauer? Is he going to UNI or is NDSU still in the mix?

Nothing yet. Poster said he's going to UNI on a Minnesota preps message board but the poster doesn't have any credibility. He could have thought offered meant accepted. Can't find anything on Panther Nation or anwhere credible. I've checked a lot too. The only UNI report is he was offered and he was then going to visit NDSU at a later date. He reportedly wanted a full scholorship but Minnesota and Colorado were not offereing one while NDSU and UNI were. He said UNI was his top choice but he hadn't checked out NDSU yet. No word on how the visit went. I hope we get him. He would be the 4th guy on the Kare 11 all metro team.

Don't worry if he had committed to UNI it would be on their board.

His brother, Tyler, is a 6'6, 290 redshirt freshman OL at St. Cloud St. I know NDSU looked at him some.
