Must have been for some bureaucratic reason. At the end of the day the student athletes are the only people who lost. I guess we will just have to rebuild but raising 350k in a day for the collective, with 10 hours to go is a hell of a start. Long term it will be as good or better just based on the raw marketing power NDSU Athletics and the Foundation. Hopefully they can get Jay back in the mix. He brought some great grassroots efforts to the mix.[/QUOTE]

It should never have gotten to a point where they 'get Jay back'. I have no idea what happened, but it's not a great look discarding the foundation builders. Makes me question the new regime.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

I think the first ever post on bisonville was about how poorly Tram Makers handles communication.

It's been mentioned on here already. Jay and Curt made every donor feel valued. Through communication, interaction, fun/diverse events ... they made the $10 donor feel the same as if they were donating $1000.

As far as retention, a lot of that is pure laziness (in my opinion). They simply expected donors to roll over and continue to give money. I think most simply would have loved a quick personal communication from Team Makers on the change. That didn't happen until weeks into it. They were handed list of donors. My guess is this is what many members feared w/ the transition to Team Makers. They struggle with communication, leadership, making all donors feel valued -- things Jay and Curt excel at. Take a look at each of the groups events. The collective was made up of individuals from 20 to 90 years old. If you look at a typical Team Makers luncheon (or 90% of TM events I've been to) ... and no offense to anyone here, the average age isn't in the 30's, 40's or 50's.

My 2 cents - whatever your misgivings are about Team Makers, how the transition was handled --- Do this for Coach P... do this for the players.

Women's basketball only needs 3 more donors to unlock 10 grand from Gate City. Scroll down to the challenges

10 grand is very impactful for a small roster. Here is the direct link to donate. Even a $10 donation counts

Women's basketball, baseball, and wrestling have all raised more than men's basketball. Strange world we live in.

Seems like fans recognizing an opportunity to support student athletes that will spend more than one year at NDSU.

Because mens basketball will take a million bucks to even have an impact while 100k for women's basketball would be gamechanging. Right now we're up to almost 40k for WBB

We need 1 more donor for women's softball to knock out 2500 bucks
