And SDSU looked fine I guess. A lot of mistakes. Their offense doesn’t worry me at all though.
SDSU was sloppy and between that, and not having a kicker, that score was way closer than it would have been. Big thing for them is if they can improve. UND is certainly and intresting team, however, I'm struggling in my mind how they really could be that much better in one year, so count me skeptical.

After watching Bison game I was comfortable that they would sail through the Valley like crap through a goose. Then after watching the other I29 teams it's clear we need to play our best ball week in week out to remain on top of the mountain.

Extremely impressed with how well these teams retooled and well they are working together.
Our defense is going to be really good and our offense is going to improve dramatically as the young guys get game reps. I'm not worried at all about the I-29 teams.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

I'm just saying they all exceeded my expectations.
USD offense methodically drove down the field twice against the Cyclones. They were never the same after that interception on drive 2 and Iowa St simply overwhelmed them.
SDSU made a lot of mistakes, but those issues are very fixable.
The Sioux....I didn't watch the game, but honestly was not taking them seriously. They're doing something right up there in El Forko.
Yes, we should run the table, but I really don't see any of these games being cakewalks.

You still shouldn’t take them seriously. K State is really, really bad on defense. Tarleton would have beaten them. Yotes too.

On the road in El Forko and Brookings isnt exactly a cakewalk… USD has shown they can win in the dome.

The i29 teams will bring it to their Super Bowl. I expect at least 1 close game out of those 3, potentially more…

One of the FCS sites used a computer model that ranked NDSU as #1 preseason and also the National Championship favorite……with a regular season record of 10-2

    If I’m a betting man, I’m guessing the 2 losses were @Brookings and @El Forko…

Agree, can’t see where there would be a loss non-con, so 2 losses in the MVFC looks like those. Last undefeated MVFC season was 2019.
Fighting Hawks won’t have a one dimensional offense this year so that advantage is gone.
Illinois State could be improved this year and have a bubble IPF to practice in when the weather gets bad, plus the Bison play @ Normal.

Would love to see NDSU run the table, but each year there are close games to win.
Will this be the year they don’t win that close playoff game?
