Speaking of Moorhead, another talented prospect from the ‘27 class did quite well at Minnesota State Track & Field:

Sophomore Zak Walker finished third in the boys long jump with a leap of 22 feet, 2-3/4 inches.

Walker ran a 10.87 in the 100 meters for a fifth-place finish. He was also a finalist in the 200 meters.

“That’s an incredible feat for a sophomore,” Davies said of Walker. “The sky’s the limit for what he’s going to be able to do. … He had a great day.”

Walker is drawing interest in both track and football.
Taye Reich is the highest profile ‘27 recruit currently, in addition to Feeney and many schools being interested in him.

Good for him. Didn't realize he was being recruited at TE. NOt sure what position he plays in HS, maybe it is TE...he's gonna have to put on alot of weight and muscle tho, as he's 195...like at least 30 pounds. But, shouldn't be a problem for a young buck.

When I reffed a couple of their games last year, he split out at WR. Wonder if a position change is going to happen with these big schools targeting him at TE? He's the real deal.
