Speaking of Moorhead, another talented prospect from the ‘27 class did quite well at Minnesota State Track & Field:

Sophomore Zak Walker finished third in the boys long jump with a leap of 22 feet, 2-3/4 inches.

Walker ran a 10.87 in the 100 meters for a fifth-place finish. He was also a finalist in the 200 meters.

“That’s an incredible feat for a sophomore,” Davies said of Walker. “The sky’s the limit for what he’s going to be able to do. … He had a great day.”

Walker is drawing interest in both track and football.
Taye Reich is the highest profile ‘27 recruit currently, in addition to Feeney and many schools being interested in him.

I am curious to see if Jett Feeney camps with NDSU.
The first of the two big ones is this week, with the other in a couple weeks.
Feeney has been working the regional FBS camps so far, Minnesota Wisconsin Iowa Iowa State.
Did Coach Vigen put an offer out there to pre-empt camping at NDSU?
If Feeney were to jump on the Bobcat offer, he would possibly have Vigen’s QB son Grant two years ahead of him…
