I see someone tried Scottie’s new recipe “euphoria”.

Cole Payton IS! the kind of player who can carry a team; and with the OL situation, and IMO, the secondary situation, and the lack of depth on the interior DL, could very well be necessary for the Bison to be successful in 2025.

Be realistic, the Bison going to Tennessee in 2026 is NOT a done deal. There are serious weaknesses, it will take some serious strength at the Bison's areas of strength to win.

Payton's rushing combined with the talent of Chris Harris,Bryce Lance, Raja Nelson,Jackson Williams, and the grossly underrated Owen Johnson, could just render the defensive weaknesses null and void.
If you would have added two more (e's) to "theeee", I would have believed you.

    Long overdue thread bump.

I'm not going to eat crow for doubting Cole's passing skills. Three years ago, his throws were inconsistent. Two years ago, he was used frequently... to run the ball. Last year, less frequently, but mostly as a rushing QB. It wasn't that I didn't think he was a good passer, but we hadn't seen it.

At this point, we have now all seen it. And the Passing is Good.

I'm not, up until this year he hadn't showed much passing ability to have FBS schools wanting him as a QB. Maybe he had some offers as a RB or TE but doubt there was much interest for his QBing.

Could be. The guy is an absolute unit. He is clearly an NFL athlete, and that much has been clear for a few years.

I can't believe ndsu had him essentially ride the bench for his entire career. What an embarssment of riches we have had.
