Memphis, Tulane, USF, and UTSA issued a joint statement on their commitment to the AAC. That raid attempt is a bust.
Air Force announced they're staying in the MWC and are willing to sign a GoR.
#5 and #6 from the MWC is going to cost the PAC $24.5M in buyout penalties, plus the normal MWC exit fee by the school. That money doesn't exist, nor are there 2 available MWC teams worth that "$15M" tossed around.
No way 2 Sunbelt teams move.
CUSA doesn't have anybody worthwhile.

Non-zero chance this whole rebuild falls apart and everybody ends up rejoining the MWC. It's hilarious that San Diego State made this mistake twice.

For argument sake if Gonzaga goes to PAC as Basketball only, one could argue that NDSU could go as Football only

Not the way we want the dominos to fall. Our odds are much lower outside MWC.

Don't see PAC considering FCS due to perception alone. AAC won't want to stretch their footprint to the xDSUs. Neither will SBC or CUSA.

Agreed, unless they take Utah State and a Texas school of some sort.
