Are the Bison even going to offer a scholarship to a ND kid this year?
    NDSU has offered Horner.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

Dang missed it by a week, I said it would happen by the 10th. He will be a great addition if he works hard and keeps the fire lit. Welcome to the Herd Mr. Horner!!!!!!!!!

You have to love a 12 yard average over 150 something attempts!!! I wonder if he will stay at RB or if he moves to Defense. Maybe the paper will say tomorrow.

Getting Horner is big for NDSU on and off the field. From at least a PR standpoint, they couldn't afford to let the state's Gatorade Player of the Year go to another school 2 years in a row. (see Catlin Solum)

    Horner!!!

Merry Christmas to the Bison Fans!
Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir."
Scrooge-"Are there no prisons?". "Plenty of prisons..."
Scrooge-"And the Union workhouses." . "Are they still in operation?". "Both very busy, sir..."
"Those who are badly off must go there."
"Many can't go there; and many would rather die."
Scrooge- "If they would rather die," "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."

I don't necessarily agree with that. Had you heard of Landon Smith, Lee Vandal, or Keith Buckman before they signed with the Bison? All of them are getting some good minutes as underclassmen now. Was Tyler Jangula a big time recruit? Nope, but I'll take him and 10 more just like him now. There are some good recruits available but I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a good judge at whether or not a 300 lb. kid has the foot speed to be able to play at the FCS level or not. I trust the coaching staff to make those decisions. They haven't been wrong very often.
