According to mat scouts Tayshaun Glover out of Dudley, NC has committed to the BiZon. He projects at 184/197. Not sure if this is the guy Obe tweeted about or not as I don’t see him in the top 20 rankings for Flo or Mat Scouts.

Max Magayna was trying to become a four-time Iowa state champ this weekend. He switched to a new school this year to move up to the highest division (3A). He pinned this way through the early rounds, and was dominating in the semis with a 5-0 lead after two periods. Unfortunately, in the 3rd period, his opponent choose neutral, and somehow went feet-to-back to tie the score at 5, and then added 2 more nearfall to close it out. In reality, I would say he was pinned several times, but I don't think the refs wanted to call it. The announcer was calling it the upset of the tournament. As heartbreaking as that had to be, at least he came back and dominated his way to 3rd place.
Jack Castagneto out of Idaho has committed to the BiZon for next season. Projects at 133.
Bison fans are blessed. Enjoy it.
Ezekiel Witt out of Junction City, KS has signed with the Bizon for next season. 113 pound undefeated KS state champion that is ranked #12 by May scouts. Nice to have a guy that looks like he’ll be able to stay at 125 for his college career.
Bison fans are blessed. Enjoy it.
Willie’s released his final big board for the 2024 class and I guess the good news is we got 6 in the top 250. The not-so-good news is only 2 in the top 100 and I believe they’re at #86 and #99. I won’t link it because you need a Rokfin account to access it.
Ezikiel Witt is #86 and Max Magayna is #109. Max was #35 in last years ranking. Losing that state championship match to a kid he handled three times caused the drop. Not sure it should be that harsh but it is. They have Jed Wester, Minnesota commit from St Michael, Mn ranked ahead of Magayna even though Max beat him by MD last year.
