This is probably the correct hire. Need to keep a coach or 2 to help with keeping players and recruiting. I like that hes been a special teams coordinator multiple times. Need to get better at that.

All of Polasek's experience is on the offensive side of the ball, so I'll be curious what he's going to do to address the defense and special teams.
Either way TR will have to leave to get some FBS experience just like Entz is doing. Or he hangs around until Policek moves up and hope he gets the job.

Midnight extensions of Dave Richman, no FBS and has been very opaque publicly, lot of people didn’t love the Entz hire, we used to be top of our conferences in football/MBB/volleyball/softball and are not anymore, no new FBS games, poor execution of the US Bank game this year

He has done great things with fundraising and the IPF but you were looking for negatives

I hope Roehl stays. Some hate him, I look at results. He has them. Coach P and Tyler have a long relationship. I think he will be the OC next year again.

I think you're right. I can also see them going back to more traditional NDSU football with QB under center, etc.

I think what Sawvel does at Wyoming in terms of who he retains will determine the pool of potential candidates Polasek has available to him at NDSU.
