Notorious--Bisonville all-time POTY

You don't have to defend this post from me. Nostalgia makes us forget the off-plays/off-days that even great NDSU QBs had. And, in most years, the defense was so good that the offense could win with 21 pts.
Cam is having one of NDSU's all-time great seasons at QB - and for this season to continue, he and Cole are going to have to continue to be playmakers.
I believe this to be true as well.
I think his skill set would fit in well with several P5 offenses.
My comment was more so discrediting Chapo's meritless argument that Cam isnt as good as Zeb or Quincy and that schools would actually want him to come play for them rather than Zeb's coach turned player situation and Quincy walking on, and not playing, for a bottom feeder G5 school.
This is not 'Nam. This is Bisonville. There are rules here.
I really like Cam as a QB and agree almost all of our problems have nothing to do with Cam. I will disagree Wentz was a better player at NDSU and when we needed a drive to win a game he came thru almost every time (except USD when hurt). I do have a couple of complaints on Cam. He doesn't like to throw a deep ball which would help move safeties away from the line of scrimmage. Also, one thing that Wentz excelled in and Cam doesn't do well and neither did most of QBs when they were younger is find the TE in the middle of the field. As I have watched our run it seems like that throw which takes looking off the safety and knowing the defensive set (which you know way more than me) seems to happen as our QBs have gotten really experienced in the system. Jensen threw so many out routes when he was younger and then his senior year seemed to use the TE alot. Maybe some is scheme, but it seems to me that it has more to do with being able to read defenses before the snap. I just haven't seen Cam excel at this like our other QBs did as they got older in the system.
If it flies it dies.
Long for the days of freezing in the south stands of Dacotah Field.
I'm hoping NI4NI is right... it's hard to dispute that the MVFC has a lot of good QBs right now which makes a big difference. I'm also expecting that our defense will improve. That said, I think you are probably right. Teams are able to run on NDSU much more effectively than they used to and that really helps out opposing QBs. That needs to be fixed.
I went back and looked and in NDSU's 178 wins since 2010 (inclusive), the average winning score was 36-12, the average losing score was 18-28 in the 23 losses.
In the last two seasons, there have been 20 wins with an average score of 39-15 and 6 losses with an average score of 21-34.
It's been a Jensen-Wentz-Stick-Lance kind of year so far for Cam Miller
His 10 touchdowns rank him last of the five QBs but his four interceptions tied for second behind Lance’s memorable zero-pick year of 2019. Put the rushing component into the comparison and Miller’s six TDs on the ground was only second to Stick’s seven in 2018. Lance had four and Wentz and Jensen three each.
the ENTIRE Big Ten West is in desperate need of a QB. We have two kids who grew up in big ten country. Were recruited at some point by several or most of those big ten schools. Those offers will be coming. With bags of money included in those offers. Hoping we avoid the portal this year. Gronowski has 2 years remaining at SDSU and will have better accolades, so they may be affected at some point as well.
Everyone just relax, all right? Believe me, if there's one thing Ron Burgundy knows, it's women.
