Same size as Wake Forest. No need for giant stadiums you'll never/rarely fill. Maybe they'll expand since they are going to host bigger/better schools now, but who knows.

We don't need additional capacity for regular games against random opponents, you need it for big games. If Wyoming and Craig Bohl were coming to Fargo we would easily sell out 25k. However, as part of the deal they would want a couple thousand tickets for their fans so they could travel to the game. Same could be said for any decent G5 or low level P5 that we would try to schedule a H/h or 2 for 1 with. It's just how FBS scheduling works. If you can't guarantee them the number of tickets they want, they won't schedule you.

But not all teams fans travel well. Ive been to Big 10 games where the opposing fans were basically non existent. But there is a pretty easy fix. You just freeze all unsold season tix and hold back single game tickets to meet that request.

So glad NDSU leadership sat around waiting for the "right" offer.

thumbs up asses. Ive told you 100 times and now i'm fully convinced Larson/Phelps could care less, they want to ride this out for 5-10 more years then retire back east. its the easiest job in the world to ride coattails and operate in the BLACK staying in PUD FCS>..

Maybe nothing, but still talk of rebuilding the Pac-2.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

Wow, that's actually a rather insightful article.

Suggests there is a big battle behind the scenes for control of PAC and its assets. The departing members certainly would be incentivized to shut it down, but it looks like OSU/WSU trying to stop that. Normally departing members are excluded from any conference decisions according to rather standard bylaws. OSU/WSU should win this fight.

They could still be looking to use PAC as a shell to merge with MWC, or they could legitimately be looking to rebuild it. Quite possible the departing schools have thrown monkey wrenches in that if they haven't given up governance.
