Is that author more or less credible than McFeely?

McFeely has on the record interviews with people in authority at NDSU. That's journalism.
This Idaho article contains zero new info and just rehashes the same old points. That's opinion.
I remember a time when newspapers had a separate Opinion page and it was clearly marked as such.

True, but something does feel a little different. This isn't some guy blogging from his mom's basement in Minot. It's the actual reporter that covers their local team in the conference in question.

What will happen? Maybe nothing, but it just feels like there is more energy here and not just in Fargo.

Did anyone other than Mr. Mouthbreather imply that it was anything more than the Boise State beat writer publishing an opinion article?

The article quite obviously doesn’t prove or mean anything will happen, but it is written by someone who is very connected in the MW. I remember a time not so long ago that one member of the FCS forever dynamic duo was asking for an article written by someone in the mountain West mentioning NDSU. Is this a bingo or did we move the goalposts on this too?

The guy not only wrote the article he’s defending his opinion against “random guys on the internet” on his Twitter account

Seems to be an ex high school beat writer in Virginia who graduated from James Madison.
Agree he's definitely pushing/advocating for NDSU here on twitter, even against other Boise fans, and that's a good thing.

Makes me hate James Madison a little less. Any press like this is good, but not sure it proves there is Boise institutional support yet. Just a guy who believes in us, and wants to see us in the MWC. The press can't hurt though.

Just another opinion article IMO. Now if the "anonymous source" he touched on earlier in the article regarding SDSU had mentioned NDSU being a candidate....then there's smoke. Until then, he did his job...he caught some big fish and clicks with that one.
