OSU's Miller named Practice Player of Week
Sun, Jan 31, 2016
MOBILE -- Braxton Miller has turned some heads this week in Mobile -- literally and figuratively. The Ohio State wide receiver has been lightening quick in his routes and, despite only playing one year at receiver for the Buckeyes, made some big strides this week.
He was voted by a panel of NFL scouts and Reese's Senior Bowl personnel as the top practice performer this week in Mobile.
"You just put in the time and the determination in how you want to perfect your craft," Miller said, "(and) it shows on the field. So, that's what I've been doing."
Other practice award postion winners on Thursday night:
TOP QUARTERBACK
Carson Wentz, North Dakota State
TOP RUNNING BACK
Kenneth Dixon, Louisiana Tech
TOP WIDE RECEIVER
Sterling Shepard, Oklahoma
TOP OFFENSIVE LINEMAN
Jason Spriggs, Indiana
TOP SPECIALIST
Jeff Overbaugh, San Diego State
TOP DEFENSIVE LINEMAN
Noah Spence, Eastern Kentucky
TOP LINEBACKER
Reggie Ragland, Alabama
TOP DEFENSIVE BACK
Harlan Miller, SE Louisiana

Nice work gumby!!!!
You've kicked butt on all these posts!!!
Wow.......nobody could have imagined 5 straight titles and now this.........an ndsu QB named top QB at senior bowl practice. To top it off I hope Carson has a great game tomorrow.
Agreed but I wanted to punch my TV when watching Mike Mayock on the NFL network, that guy just bugs the shit out of me. Overall, he's been positive about Carson but since there is no glaring weakness, he has to really reach to find one. His praises of the USC and Stanford QB for their knowledge of the game yet says something like Carson Wentz will need the game to slow down for him because of the system he came from and these other two just process the game better. Has this dipshit ever watched film on him? Process the game better, are you f'n kidding me? Sure Wentz has a lot to learn but don't make is sound like he's not as smart as these two PAC 12 QB's because of where they played, that's just crap. Overall, it's been a blast to watch him this week and how he's handled everything, couldn't happen to a better guy.
Titans are putting the #1 pick on the block.
