Did he turn his back to our guy suddenly? No. The kids back is to him in all of the pictures. Hes going to block the kid in the back. Very bad in game decision and lack of discipline.

I will need to see it real time to see how initial contact is made and see how it all unfolds .

Ditto...only looking at what I see, he looks like he is trying to run parallel and throw a block in the midsection/right hip of #20 and misses badly. At best, a really stupid play (would have been worse if #20 was engaged with another blocker), but it was a football play/block nonetheless to try and potentially spring Dunn on a cutback to the middle of the field.

Accidental injury during blocking is part of the game, your team has more bigger issues to worry about. Half of your fan base already talkin about scraping football

Here is the play. 87 does the block.

I've watched the video. Let's see what the resident reffing expect says on the topic. If you're just going off of the pictures then you can't form an opinion. The video is very telling.

Bad decison? Yes. Should've been flagged. Probably. Malicious or dirty? No. Intent to injury? Hell no.

When you get your ass beat down worse than most cupcakes NDSU has played in recent years, you'd be looking to find reasons to bitch too.

I've watched the video in slow-mo many times too. He made an attempt at a block in the back, which became a clip. Not a good play. But if you think there was any intent other than trying to make a play, you are dumber than I thought.

Exactly. They'll bitch about this for the next four years. Their guy gets hurt on a legit play and they whine and all the time forget that Sic was pushing for someone to wack Carson Wentz.

I'll be honest...if the only thing talked about regarding this game after Saturday (or subsequent games going forward) is this single play and the "bad sportsmanship" angle the media takes postgame...I don't want to see this fucking game on the schedule ever again.

What the video shows to me is the low hit. You have a number of people on SS saying it was a deliberate, dirty hit with the intention of hurting the player and that NDSU players are coached to play dirty. How they can come to that conclusion isn't clear to me.
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.
