I'm not so sure about that! But I'll concede this much for the sake of brotherly Bison love……………..it was, at best, similar.

Last year we were lucky because Jacks had a bad QB and we didnt see too much of Jake Wieneke but whenever the Jack's QB threw his way this happened.

After these two fouls the Jacks got the momentum and went ahead and scored TDs.

This year with a weak secondary, inexperienced backfied we have a lot to worry.

Agreed, not sure why we can't have more than one rival. SDSU is definitely not invented, I remember a ton of intense game with the Rabbits as of late.

Plus...I think this might be their year to knock us off. That game will be more intense than yesterday's.

I would like to see CJ return punts but I wouldn't do it against SDSU.

Last year the Jacks had a very good QB. Not sure how a personal foul on CJ proves anything. Wieneke is a stud though... he's just taller than pretty much any CB and he can run. I would anticipate some safety help to take him out of the game so the other corners need t on step up. We don't have a weak secondary. We have an inexperienced secondary who is gaining experience every week.

I heard this statement : ' the atmosphere at tailgating and in the dome really showed this rivalry is needed.'

EVERY WEEK NO MATTER WHO WE PLAY HAS THAT ATMOSPHERE

If the media thinks 'ND needs to experience this' - then get in the waiting line for season tickets (because EVERY game sold out in an hour) and come watch any Bison game- especially a competitive conference game instead of the patsies we bring in like this week.

Anyone who can't figure out why we would not play there is completely clueless.

Second half was tough to watch...........some of the shots of the crowd in the fourth quarter..........yikes........looked like people at a English Lit lecture.
