My of my so many fouls and undisciplined playing, Jackrabbits and UNI will roast our nuts if we play like this with so many uncharacteristic fouls

Sucks that the long kicks were called back, but it happens quite a bit on punt/kick returns, confusion but the play turned out ok, so one muffed punt I can live with. A few very good returns, one kickoff that went out of bounds, but 2-3 others that put UND right down in the corner 3 or more other times. Kickoffs going out of bounds are going to happen if you are trying to directional kick every so often. So I give the special teams an A- so far, not perfect, but still darn good.Originally Posted by Bisonguy

UND's only points have come off NDSU special team breakdowns. The muffed punt and the long punt return that they scored the FG on. Special teams has been pretty good, but the no names have been good at capitalizing on special team mistakes. This game should be at least 38-0 rout right now if it wasn't for two plays. Heck, the muffed punt even had a missed INT prior to it.
