    We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

    Validate
    verb (used with object), validated, validating.
    1. to make valid; substantiate; confirm;
    2. to give legal force to; legalize.
    3. to give official sanction, confirmation, or approval to, as elected officials, election procedures, documents, etc.;

    Not sure where you pulled out this notion of validation (unless it was your own subliminal thinking slipping through). I've not read anything, in any thread, that suggested anything of the kind.

    Wow, no words to descibe what I just read. It is the Strib though...so I'm not too surprised.

    Well it's been fun Bison fans. I'm sure a good chunk of you won't be on here tomorrow, but will be enjoying some great tailgating.

    Really disappointed I can't make it for tailgating this game (though I'll likely tailgate a different bison game this year). Drink a beer for me, scream like hell and enjoy the game. Hope it's a fun one.

    Here is to a fun game and no injuries!

    About the only thing good about this game is hearing and listening to some of the old timers. Shoot even Big Ed and his barking dog called in to the MMCF show. I admit hearing some of the stories was fun, but it would not matter to me if it were UND or whomever. As long as it was Bison!

    I think if some of the media (UM GFH Please Take note) would have taken the nostalgic approach verses trying to manufacture something that is not people would be more accepting.

    Interesting: Just as Mike maybe it was Jeff, anyway... someone said, talking to the players there is no hate like there is say with UNI. The game is more about allowing the old timers re live a memory. About every 5 years seems about right!
