You are right, time will tell. And if the Sue make it to Frisco and we don't this year (technically 2016) you can have my tickets that I already bought. That's our fanbase and what we are focused on. Wish it was the same up north. Enjoy the game.

Most rivalries are conference games. That is where your leadership really hurt you. Until they figure that out, your entitled fan base can keep dreaming.

Fan bases or administrations can't force conferences to allow a team to join. Of all fan bases that should know this, you'd think it would be NDSU's, because clearly NDSU would already be in the BIG12.

No, your administration had a chance. If you moved up in 2003, there is little doubt you would be in Summit/MVFC with NDSU, and maybe SDSU and USD would not. Don't forget that.

How is there little doubt? Didn't NDSU need SDSU go to bat for them to get them to where they are by making it clear it was a package deal only? Does SDSU feel that same obligation if there are two North Dakota schools instead of just one?

I think if they had shown real solidarity and not this cold shoulder, all the Dakota schools would have been together in everything. It's a nice grouping of schools with a common interest.
