Hushka was mentioned in the Forum article as being a Linebacker. His father, Dr. Doug Hushka, was an all-american defensive back for the Bison. He is from Dickinson. Hushka also has a brother on the squad that plays fulback.

As I recall, Marcus Williams was supposedly offered a scholarship to play CB at NDSU but deferred his decision until after the basketball season. Based on an article in the GopherHole he has scholarship offers for both BB and FB. This article implies that NDSU has offered him a BB scholarship and based on his answers I think he is leaning to that sport.

Thanks! For anyone interested, there were several posts about Marcus Williams yesterday over in the basketball recruiting thread.

I wonder if the Bison will be looking at this kid. He's from the same high school as Garrett Bruhn. His film is pretty solid. I know he's been to both Nebraska and Oklahoma on visits but the speculation is that he's going to be a 2 or 3 star. Nebraska doesn't have a lot of scholarships available this year so he's going to need to really impress at camp in order to get an offer. I don't know if he's tight with Bruhn or not but if he is, that could open the door.

NDSU's No. 1 quarterback prospect for 2010 has surfaced.
Troy Delmer from Osh Kosh.
As a junior, Demler led the state of Wisconsin in passing with 3,051 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Looks like a lot of familiar competition for Demler, who is arguably the top junior quarterback in the state of Wisconsin
Some quotes:
Demler, who has yet to receive a scholarship offer, has a trip planned to Northern Illinois next Sunday and feels his first offer could be on the way from North Dakota State.
"I'm going to Northern Illinois next Sunday for another junior day that they are having," he said. "Northern Iowa invited me to their junior day in April and North Dakota State told me as of right now, I'm their No. 1 quarterback prospect for my class.
"I've been in contact via phone with one of the coaches at North Dakota State. He basically told me today that if I go to the one-day camp I would probably see an offer. Also, I got a hand written letter recently from South Dakota State's head coach. I just said I should call him and he's going to be sending me more information on the school."

Quarterbacks are good - bring them in by the handful!
