Yeah, NDSU's has so much notoriety that they and UND are continously mistaken for each other. The popularity is just off the charts!

Yeah and most of these are recruits who realize their grave mistake and shit on their verbal on signing day. Not something I would normally hang my hat on, but again, I don’t cheer for your shitty school, so the bar is way lower... it must be rough up there. I’m really sorry you have to reach so far inside your cavernous ass for excuses to make you feel better. It must be fucking exhausting.

Anyway, try to enjoy yourself and forget about it all this holiday. After all, you’ll always have some measure of popularity from riding our coattails, and at this point, I feel so sorry for your loser ass, I’m willing to oblige. Enjoy!

Yep. Our brand is now massive and far exceeds the FCS.

So in 11 years of eligibility, we've won 8 national championships, lost late in the playoffs twice to the eventual national champions (one in OT) and missed our first 2 years.

Sounds familiar to D2 in the 1980s and early 90s

2 – This is wrong. FB-only fits fine in AAC or MWC. MAC too but it sucks
3 – This is wrong too. FD meets the occupancy requirements for FBS. Is it smallish? Yes, but who knows how crowds will all recover after covid. It was already trending down before
4 – Looking at the growth of the endowment over the last 5 years, this is wrong as well. NDSU is catching up to UND. Wouldn't be shocked to see NDSU pass them. Oh my what a tizzy that would cause
1 & 5 – This is the crux of the issue and these two are no doubt coupled. So the answer to 1 is to solve 5, and Heffie has the answer to that one … But seriously, this is where the state comes in and takes charge. NDSU/BYU on the mothership would do WAY more for the state than NDSU/UND on Midco. That’s just a fact, although probably one that some folks don’t really want to hear

Unless our endowment managers are monitoring the stock market plays thread I would assume our endowments are managed very similarly and therefore any large delta between the two would be the result of larger inflows.

Certainly, although given recent market performance post 2008, any of NDSU catching up would require even more inflows. Obviously if there were no inflows then the gap would be widening, not closing.
