If anyone is a Rivals subscriber, do you know if Paul Swan chose Bowling Green rather than NDSU? Probably, but just searching for any potential late comers.

I found a different link where he committed to Bowling Green in July.

There are 25 players listed on the first page of this thread, including the two known preferred walk-ons. It looks like we know about all of the scholarship players who are expected to sign letters of intent tomorrow. I think it looks like an outstanding class. Congratulations to the coaching staff!Quote:
North Dakota State is expecting to sign 23 players today to a national letter of intent to play football.
Hmmm, I wonder what schools coach Bohl was talking about that like to recruit by going negative? :)
From the article:
Quote:
Q: What are some “don’ts” in recruiting?
A: “One of the ‘don’ts’ is you really stay positive in the whole recruiting approach. There’s a tendency when somebody will say something negative against your school that you want to retaliate. There’s no school that is a complete utopia, so there’s an attitude of some schools that want to choose to go negative. One of things you do is stay positive. The student-athlete we attract comes here because of grounded values. Typically, if a school gets negative recruiting against us, it backfires for them. But there’s a human tendency; if they say something bad about you, you want to say something bad about them.”
Q: Does that negative recruiting happen much out there?
A: “Yeah it does. I think a lot of times coaches will stay pretty professional. Then when it really comes time toward the end, that’s when some of the negative stuff and the gloves come off and that’s when you want to stay above the fray.”
Thanks.
Perhaps the most interesting to me is that Kolpack says Bohl is expecting LOI from 23 athletes. The quick reference on another thread lists 25 verbals. Do the 23 represent only scholarship offers? Do preferred walk ons not sign LOI? I don't know, I am just asking.
If the signing class stays as it is it will be a very impressive class for you guys. Congrats to the coaching staff!
