They had no chance to host. Seeded teams don't have to bid. They just get to host until they meet a higher seeded team.

Sadly, NDSU did not pick up anymore AP votes; not sure what will happen next week as the national folks will not be paying any attention to and NDSU/Furry Man game.
Jacksonville State would easily outbid SDSU if they tried. Could even outbid us if the filled the place. They averaged around 16k with a high of 19k in a 24k stadium. BTW, we're 0-2 against JSU, both DII playoff games.
Might as well. Don't even care today but it was something to do while Bohl was talking. EIU continues to close the gap. MVFC takes a hit thanks to SDSU's fabulous performance. Winners are the teams that upset the seeds, Losers are the three seeds that lost plus SDSU & Tenn St.

Sag got the new numbers up yet tonight. Bison crack the top-25 again in predictor. Predicting an almost 20pt win vs. UNH. EWU/Towson is a tossup.

Mine is kicking out similar numbers.
Bison 91.33% of the time at the dome vs UNH.
EWU 53.90% of the time at home vs Towson. Towson would be a slight favorite in Maryland, or on a neutral site, as they are ranked above EWU.
Is UNH the first team since they expanded to 20+ to advance to the semis from round 1?
No for sure Georgia Southern did in 2010.
Think you mean Towson instead of UNH. We will see if EWU is for real if they can stop West this week. I want to see EWU for three reasons. 1-I think these seniors want to finish off with the team that knocked them out in '10. 2-I really want this team to beat down a Big Sky team at some point this year! 3-I think it would be an easier game for us than Towson would be.
I think you're right thinking EIU was more overrated. Towson is good, but they weren't anything special (sorry hearing it so much from our opponents lately that it's stuck in my head). They played consistent ball and made stops when they needed to.
I hope EWU beat the odds and shows up in Frisco. It will be a beat down when the Bison get a hold of the Eagles. We will show no mercy.
Is UNH's string of victories really a string of upsets?
Maine in Reg season...at home...senior day...maybe but probably not
Lafayette...Hmmm CAA trumps Patriot
Maine on Road...tough to beat a team a second time, especially when they have a week off...but I don't think that it was that much of an upset.
SELA on road...CAA vs Southland??? team that came off of an emotional high of winning their first ever playoff game vs team who has been there 10 years straight.
I would pose that UNH has been a favorite every round of the playoffs so far and has had an easier road than most. I'm not putting any disrespect on UNH at all, they've won the games, but I am saying that the woodchipper is fired up and I'm sure hoping we can stuff them in it.

Dare to dream, dare to dream. Go Eagles! I want NDSU to break you:
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-q6uVq-UVE7...+break+you.jpg
I was for SDSU beating them down but since that dream was killed I've been cheering EWU on to their sure destruction on the field in Frisco at the hands of these seniors. NCAA/ESPN can at this point hope this happens because it has the best story line to it of all options available. NDSU 3 Peat is good but not juicy, and it would work the masses up into a media frenzy (then throw Bohl leaving in for dessert).

West=Zenner or Zenner=West
I would love to meet EWU in Frisco but just dont think the can beat Towson. The game should come down to late in the 4th.
