The coach of this "unnamed university" stated they lost a recruit to us. Anybody know who that recruit might have been? He was whining like a school girl complaining other schools were using unethical recruiting practices by bringing up the "uncertainty" at the school. :D

Speaking of facts, I heard most of the interview, and you're right he didn't mention NDSU by name, he never mentioned any school by name, he was being very generic. I don't recall him mentioning any particular player by name in regards to those incidents either. So in conclusion, if Obarski was the only player they thought they had that we got, how is that part of it not right, unless there is another player we ended up getting under similar circumstances? He mentioned at least 4 players that verballed, that they lost to other schools.Quote:

I like the quality of the four preferred walk-ons even though they aren't getting any money. The two ND walk-ons, Duchscher from Rugby could turn out like the Belquists at receiver, and the Bismarck QB has a good chance with his skills. Seemed like the Breck kid was on the highlights every Friday night.

Wentz from Century is a good get. I watched him play against Minot this year, and the Magi had their hands full with him.

that's true....One can never tell. The weakness I think of UND compared to NDSU is the crowds enthusiasm. At UND, hockey is by far the fan favorite. Even when students go to the football games, most of the time they are sporting their hockey gear. NDSU had and still does have a lot more enthusiasm about NDSU football.Quote:

"U N" looked to do a very good job engaging his blocker and then coming off to make the tackle as he saw where the play was going and what was going on around him. I like how he threw both arms out and form tackled. He didn't just use his size to knock people down. You can only tell so much from a highlight reel and I am no coach but he looked like he has real good fundamentals and always kept going. (the one tackle on the wideout was 15 20 yards down field he used the angle and got there to help out.):nod:
