Wow.

I was a student in the 80's. Students and fans left early during blowouts back then too. There was just no place for the die hards to complain.

You can do what you want teach. You seemed like a good guy. We have differing opinions on what ndsu is and what it means to us. That's fine. More students share my opinion than yours and the proof is in the lack of attendance.

When the heck did "winning" get boring? Is this a consequence of handing out participation trophies to every kid regardless of the results the past couple of generations?

Trust me...Bisonfanette can fill those seats that go unfilled. She says row AA and above should have been opened up for GA and she would(not could) have filled them herself. I am her spokesperson as she and her hubby are busy in post game activities... lol!

They didn't take it. Do not blame this on the students. They bust their ass each and every week in school and your gonna apologize because they went home to see family? You're pathetic. It's called support. I have never left early but I'm sure the folks who have to sit around you are happy that you left.

I never knew about these seats being available this past week. It seems I am in the majority, as so many people said to us at the game that they also didn't know there were GA seats available. All over the tailgate lot there seemed to be tickets available too. Bisonfanette(as she is looking over my shoulder right now) says..." People didn't know tickets were available". And she knows her shiest!

And by the way...to answer your question...I want alumni and FANS who are passionate about NDSU, because of the school, because of their experiences, becasuse of the relationships they have made and because of the difference it has made in their lives. That's what NDSU is about. Not because we win football games.

It looked like there were plenty of other seats empty too.

I've always had the students back and I will still but today I am calling them out. It was a pathetic.

Other sections left early too. Starting in the second half and a massive exodus between the 3rd and 4th quarter. Why not rip on those people? Seriously, if the biggest problem we have is people leaving early when we are blowing a team out, I'm ok with that.

Is this this season's thread, or last's, or 1999's? This happens every single year.

The student attendance problem is not just an NDSU issue for today. This article in yesterday's Star Tribune discussed it from the Gopher perspective. The article also noted a number of other programs with the same problem.

Wasn't leaving early it wasn't showing up in first place thereby leaving seats open because general public didn't buy what students didn't buy... Could easily sold them to general public as season tickets, if students don't care as 344 says then take them away and give them to people who do care.
