I was a student in the 80's. Students and fans left early during blowouts back then too. There was just no place for the die hards to complain.

I wouldn't get too excited about what one student says about what's "typical" of other students and applying it to future donations. People spend time with those that have similar interests. There will always be a percentage of students that don't care. The lack of attendance is concerning though. NDSU needs to figure out why they aren't selling out student tickets. You can like or dislike Bohl, but I was a student his first year coaching and he made a point to get to as many student organizations as he could to get students in the seats and make noise. At that time students were the only people in the dome making noise at any time.

Klieman seems to be doing well with that sort of thing. Problem is.... If the team never loses.... Games lose interest.

I think your comments illustrate exactly why the big plans talked about on this board are unlikely to happen.

If NDSU gets big ideas I'll probably be happy to donate.

Again...if the students didnt buy all the tickts...why didnt the public buy them after the deadline if there is such demand????

You can do what you want teach. You seemed like a good guy. We have differing opinions on what ndsu is and what it means to us. That's fine. More students share my opinion than yours and the proof is in the lack of attendance.
