Good read on reported offers and verbals in the state of wisconsin. We look to be doing very good in the Badger state. I really want that WR Ben Erickson. He looks to be a stud.
Apparently one of Michigan's QB recruits backed out so they might be taking a closer look at AJ Westendorp (although they have about five QBs they're looking at).

I spoke with a friend who is a recruiter for another school.....and he said that Jerve is a stud!!! I don't know much about this kid. That was great to hear.
Another kid that SDSU recruited / offered but NDSU was able to get the verbal. What is that now.....4 or 5 kids that SDSU recruited this year but NDSU got them instead. I think SDSU only has 2 verbals to date.....wow. Got to love it......and Jacka$$ fans thought they were equal to or better than the Bison based on a couple thin victories. Face it SDSU, you will never have better football facilities or tradition and Brookings is a dive compared to Fargo.Quote:

Lakes you, unbison, and several others on this message board are so full of crap......Mertens sucks and who knows if Jose is that great either. NDSU needs 2 recruits in this years class that are promising QB's with game smarts and talent. Best if one could be a talented JUCO, or better yet a transfer from FBS. The other could be one of the high school kids we have been talking about. NDSU drastically needs some talent and depth at the QB position. This way thay can push each other for the starting position and provide options for the coaching staff during each game and the season.Quote:

There is an article in a Michigan paper today that had a sports writer guessing on some items. He predicted AJ would sign with a MAC school. Also, as may have been posted, a QB decommitted from Michigan and signed with Toledo, so AJ may be back on their radar now. He has to be the #1 target. No question, at least from the list we have identified. Still holding out hope for a transfer.
I have a feeling that if A J Westendorp is able to make his official visit that he has scheduled for January then the coaches will get him to commit before he even leaves campus.

The 32 rushing touchdowns of Edina quarterback Anders Lee had fans from around the state wondering what kind of football interest he would receive but it seems as Lee will stick with hockey.
"The recruiting process is going ok," Anders stated. "I will be playing hockey in college due to how the football recruiting is going. So basically it's been pretty slow."
Taylor Nelson TE Minnetonka:
"I took an official to NDSU in late November," Nelson said. "I haven't committed (to any school) yet. I have five offers still; Buffalo, NDSU, South Dakota, Northern Iowa, and North Dakota. Northern Illinois is coming up to a basketball game in early January so an offer could come from them."
Pelican Rapids quarterback Tydan Storrusten is still unsure what sport he will play but three schools continue to show the most interest.
"North Dakota State, North Dakota and Minnesota-Duluth have been the three main schools," Storrusten stated previously. "I don't know if I will play football, basketball or baseball. I want to keep my options open."
QB question. Anyone hearing anything? Anders Lee looks like he is playing hockey. The kid from Pelican Rapids is barely being recruited, probably not offered and isn't sure what sport he will play. The STUD from Michigan is going to get recruited HARD by the MAC schools. What are the other options?
