Brief Description
Cal Poly-SLO came into the game ranking first in scoring defense and second in rush defense but apparently they hadn't seen the option before. On a chilly, breezy day, the Bison went out of their way to prove a point by pounding them on both sides of the ball. The Mustangs looked much happier huddled around the sideline heater than they did on the field. This game was probably over halfway through Greenwood's 61-yd, 35-second, interception return for a touchdown. The Mustang runningback, Fragiadakis, sure wasn't giving up without a fight though; he threw himself into the line twenty-nine times and got hammered each and every time. The Mustang punter was outstanding too but I can't remember his name. On the Bison defense front, Phil Hansen ran wild; his best play was when he simultaneously knocked down both the quarterback and the runningback on an ill-fated draw play.
