Brief Description
Millersville came into the game demanding some respect and got it in a hurry. In the first half, they shut down the Bison offense and took a 20-7 lead. The Bison regrouped to make it 20-14 but Millersville answered back early in the fourth to take a 26-14 lead. Maybe the Bison had finally worn down their defense but NDSU came back and scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to win the game. The final touchdown was really inadvertant as they had Simdorn stood up but eased up before the ref blew the whistle, so Simdorn took off and scored. Anyway, the game was much closer than the final score indicates. The Millersville runningback, Highley, was outstanding.
