Brief Description
The Bison finished their three-game playoff run in which they outscored their opponents 112-19 by beating conference foe, the University of South Dakota Coyotes, to win the national championship. Both teams featured outstanding defenses and run-oriented offenses, but the Bison made the big plays, including a 84-yard punt return for a touchdown by Tyrone Braxton, to win a hard fought game. This Bison team could have been the best ever to play Division II football.
