Brief Description
This game probably decided the national championship as the Bison met the Coyotes in a rematch of a 14-38 drubbing. This was probably one the hardest hitting games in playoff history as two of the best DII defenses battled it out. The game is remembered for one play though, "The Pitch". Jeff Bentrim went option right with James Molstre and got tackled just as he turned up field. Diving, he flipped the ball up to Molstre just before hitting the ground and Molstre, a track champion from Dickinson, ND, turned on the jets and ran untouched to the end zone.
