Brief Description
Another classic Aggie-Bison matchup. The Aggies could have taken a 17-0 lead to start the game except that Ken Kubisz, who played on defense and was the Bison placekicker, recovered a fumble at the Bison four yard line to end an Aggie drive. The Bison appeared to have the game in hand after scoring four unanswered touchdowns but the Aggies came back with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to get within five. The Bison added a field goal. With time expiring, Cal-Davis got the ball back and moved to midfield where their last attempt at the end zone got batted around and fell to the ground as time ran out.
