Brief Description
This was the first game of a great rivalry between the Aggies and the Bison. The Aggies, behind future NFL quarterback, Ken O'Brien, scored enough to win but only because the Cal-Davis defense kept NDSU from scoring with a first down and goal from the eight with twenty-five seconds to go.
