Wisconsin and Illinois have some great high school basketball, both offer more talent to recruit(especially Illinois).

There is a ton of competition for recruits in MN for hoops and there is only so much talent. We've tried to go after a few guys and for whatever reason it didn't work out. That said, I just want guys that are excited to be Bison, don't care where they are from.

I am not sure about NDSU being in the sticks, we seem to do well in football in metro areas. Not buying that thinking.

No thanks. Sounds like he has a shitty attitude and was not getting along with teammates.

Get the best ND has to offer. Get leftovers in other states. NDSU will be fine under those circumstances. Nothing wrong with that. I'd rather we be a basketball school than football but we aren't. Nothing wrong with that.

I've never liked thinking of it that way because why not be both? It is possible

NDSU should be destroying the twin cities, the basketball down there is just that good people, please understand that.

The best 2 players in the last 5 years have been from Minnesota (Woody & Marshall)
Sorry but Braun was the best player on last year's team and he was from Oregon. Also your obsession seems to be with the twin cities and I gotta tell you, Albert Lea is a shithole town that's closer to Iowa than to Minneapolis and Marshall is from Arlington, MN also not a twin city or a suburb.
Now this is the law of the prairie
As old and as true as the sky
And the Bison that keep it will prosper
And the Bison that break it will die
As the creeper that girdles the tree trunk
This law is the final word:
For the strength of the Herd is the Bison
And the strength of the Bison is the Herd.
