I'm a little confused about the event list. It shows Payton and Kristoffer on the Hammer list, but they didn't compete. Are athletes limited to two events at prelims or something?

edit: Never mind. It looks like the list includes everything the athlete competes in, not just what they qualified in. That makes no sense, but whatever.

Payton was, indeed a qualifier in the HAMMER. Prior to the regionals, he had the 25th best throw in the country at 220' 1".
It seems as though he opted out of that event for the regionals in order to focus on the SHOT & DISCUS since he is at #2 nationally in both. Someone here mentioned that he has battling with some injuries this Spring so perhaps that played a part in that decision as well.
As Hammersmith showed, Brandon Lewis failed to qualify with his LONG JUMP marks today.
He must not have been at his best physically, as his best jump today was 2 feet short of a PR that he set earlier this year. The weather was fine and no wind.
EDIT: Checked further, and saw that he scratched on his first and third jumps. So his low distance of 22' 7 3/4" (2nd attempt) was the only mark that he got.....
Tasha Willing is barely hanging onto a qualifying spot in hammer, but she'll probably miss it with one more flight yet to throw. Amy, Hannah and Bailey are all in that third flight.
Looks like women's hammer is done. Bailey is heading to nationals with a best throw of 204-11 which was good for 6th. Amy, Hannah and Tasha didn't make it.
And Amanda Levin's collegiate career is finished. Currently 15th with a full flight to go.
That's it for today.
