Reasons for attrition: 1) Act like morons and get kicked off the team. 2) get super busy and decide they just don't want to play 3) are getting buried on the depth chart and transfer or quit

The fact is very few kids have what it takes to play QB at the D1 level. I'd rather have too many QB's then none. I want a kid who is willing to compete and go out and win the job whether it's in practice or a game. Not someone who is afraid of competition or doesn't have the confidence to win the job anyway. Now if a kid who is currently on the team and wants to transfer because he doesn't think he will get a shot then I wish him the best. The bottom line is if you have the talent and the right attitude you will play!
No shit. Jose may not have been one of the all time greats but he is a former Bison that came all the way from California to give D1 football a shot. He started some big wins like Kansas, Youngstown last minute drive, and Montana State and was a great leader even as a backup. His height/weight wasn't ideal but he could scramble.
