polasek lost the plot against sdsu when king frazier fumbled the ball in the 2nd half. He turned easton in to a rb and that game felt like going to a dentist. Very painful to watch. Against jmu he was thoroughly exposed. I have said this before, i will say this again, rb coaches are not good ocs. They cannot think fast and creatively. Only a coach with wr experience can be a good oc. we will never win "championships" if either roehl or polasek become the next hc, thats a guarantee. Bookmark this post. I said it first.

I'm coming around on the Polasek hire. First task will be avoiding going 0-3 against the Dakota schools.

Consistently losing to SDSU and falling behind their program will always be attached to Entz in my mind. Polasek will hopefully fix that.

Without the portal and coaching changes, I'd have expected NDSU to give USD and UND epic beatdowns next year... UND was lucky not to run into NDSU in the playoffs, that's for sure.

When Entz took over, NDSU was the unquestioned King of FCS Football, and now they're not...despite FCS being MUCH weaker now then it was back then. To me this hire is clearly an upgrade at the HC position. Might take a couple years to get back, but I would be very disappointed if the Bison weren't hoisting their 10th FCS trophy in either 2024 or 2025.

When do you think that the MVFC peaked vs the FCS? I'd argue that the MVFC is stronger than its ever been. And I think that in the 2004 to now, the gap between P5 and the FCS was narrower than it's ever been. Of course, that might change because of the portal and the P5 throwing money around like coked up investment bankers at a NYC strip club, but it hasn't happened yet.
