And that is my big fear that these schools that should not exist start bonding and building things that should not be there and then they are even more entrenched. It is damn ridiculous and hopefully this higher ed committee that is being formed has some balls and actually asks and addresses the hard questions and doesn't just sit around and blow smoke up each others backsides.

Are there any rules against donors financing a project in lieu of a donation. Basically guarantee the money for the project but then also expect to be repaid over time at zero interest or something.....

Even if there aren’t they still have to have $100 million dollars they’re willing to let idle for no return.

Are there any rules that preclude minor or non-existing donors from donating, as opposed to suggesting that current donars should just finance everything.

IOW, give up 2-3 noon lunches a month and donate to TMs. But that will never happen. ❤️ the lunches.

When they changed the size of the seats they didnt change the size of the risers-floor. The debate is whose responsible to fix the problem. The bleacher company, the design company or NDSU. They adjusted the pitch of the seats which allowed some relief from what Ive been told. But to fix the problem correctly is like a million bucks. If my memory serves me right.

Adjusting the pitch helped a lot.

Sure but wouldn't you give more knowing you'd get it back?

If I’m not getting it back for 20 or 40 years and there’s no tax benefit? Probably not.

Thread derail... but I used to have the length of my iPhone 6s from my seat and the seat back in front of me. It's now about 2" more. It still sucks.

Agree. Worst part is when someone has to get by you to the aisle.
