Not conflating anything. Are you not honoring a criminal and felon when you place his name on your shoes ?

So everything is good then. Looks to me like Trey is at least partially achieving his goal(s) because a conversation is taking place. I doubt the conversation is exactly the one he hopes for but at least it is a conversation.

Either way I hope he and his teammates have a great day today.

Can we end this or lock this thread. I thought politics was banned on this board. Its a Bison gameday and there are people on both sides of the issue pissing at each other and ruining the day. Seriously people.

I’m getting really excited for this game right now. I don’t care what these players believe or think about political or religious issues right now and I cannot wait to see them play one the field. Maybe that’s something we all can agree on.

Would you be ok if one of the players wrote "NDSU Sucks" on their cleats? Its called "Ethics", its a word kids these days are not familiar with.

For anyone who had doubts, this is 100% Lances last game at NDSU.
A player can right whatever they want. That's what you get with a free concept. If the University doesn't like what they right they should have the freedom to not support the player. That's a free concept.

The argument of players are representations of the University and should be hushed is like saying you should not be able to have any opinions whatsoever on the football program because you aren't paid by them.

Listen, bro. Your level-headed reasoning HAS NO PLACE HERE.

Now please return to the stock forum and give me advice on my next YOLO.
Players should be allowed to write whatever they want on their cleats. It's 2020 in the United States, not 1940 Germany.

Why any players, or anybody in general, think it's a great idea to write the names of criminals and rapists on their shoes in "support" shows the real lack of awareness going on in our society today.
